1. General
Strikezone GmbH offers its members group lessons in Muay Thai and functional training as well as private lessons in Muay Thai and functional training. Before registration, Strikezone GmbH may request a criminal record excerpt from the student. Even if a negative criminal record excerpt is presented, Strikezone GmbH reserves its right to refuse membership.
2. Member's health
By signing the contract, the member confirms that they are in good physical health. In case of doubt, the member must consult a doctor before registering. Physical and mental limitations must be communicated to Strikezone GmbH or the course instructors..
3. Disclaimer
The school accepts no liability, whether contractual or non-contractual, for any damage incurred by the member when using our facilities or services. Strikezone GmbH also rejects any liability claims in the event of mutual injuries between course participants. Similarly, Strikezone GmbH is not liable for the loss of clothing, valuables or similar items brought to the premises.
4. Payment method
Membership fees are payable in advance. The fee is due upon legally valid signing of the membership agreement, even if the services of Strikezone GmbH are not used. We reserve the right to charge reminder fees in the event of late payment. Changes to contact details (address, email address and telephone number) must be reported to Strikezone GmbH immediately. Annual licences for SMTL, clothing and other accessories, for example, are not included in the subscription.
5. Illness, absences, violations
The notification of unforeseeable absences or interruptions, for example due to illness, holiday or other impediments, does not release the member from their obligations under this contract. In the event of long-term illness (confirmed by a doctor's certificate), relocation, military service and in cases of hardship, the contract may be suspended for a certain period of time in agreement with Strikezone GmbH. In this case, the duration of the membership shall be extended by the period during which the member has taken a break. In the event of a violation of the house rules (code of conduct) or wilful damage to property or similar, Strikezone GmbH reserves the right to terminate the membership contract without notice, depending on the severity of the violation/damage to property, and to retain the membership fee already paid to cover any expenses incurred. The holiday periods published by Strikezone GmbH, usually the school holidays in the city of Zurich, are considered training-free periods. The publications on the Academy website www.strike-zone.ch and on our social media channels apply. Members are not entitled to a refund if the offer is reduced or training times are changed.
6. Validity of registration and membership
The member confirms that they have received a copy of the registration form. Verbal side agreements are not valid; any changes must be made in writing. Should parts of the contract be invalid or void, the remaining conditions shall remain unaffected. The invalid or void condition shall be replaced by the relevant statutory provision. The member acknowledges the content of the contract by signing or registering online. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
7. Renewal of the membership
Unless the membership is terminated in writing (letter or email) 30 days before it expires, the membership will be automatically renewed for the same contract period as previously agreed. Strikezone GmbH reserves the right to demand payment of the entire contractual amount owed, or at least an administrative fee, even if the services are not used again.
8. Use of image and video material
Image and video material from training sessions is created for the social media channels and website of Strikezone GmbH. By signing the contract, the member agrees to this use of image and video material.
